Dymphna Flynn – radio production

Dymphna is a development producer for Pier Productions – researching new fiction for BBC Radio 4’s Book at Bedtime. Based in Brighton, Pier is one of the small number of production companies who make readings for BBC Radio 4. Alongside Book at Bedtime, Pier make Book of the Week and Short Readings and they also produce Audiobooks for various publishers

Dymphna was a producer at BBC Radio for over thirty years, notably as an expert in books and literature on Bookclub where she built up an incredible resource of over 250 podcast discussions with authors like Margaret AtwoodZadie SmithHilary MantelBenjamin Zephaniah and Kazuo Ishiguro and many more. She was also lead producer of the books brief on Front Row.
